Why should an athlete consider Seattle Juniors?
We have placed athletes in collegiate programs throughout the country from Division I to NAIA. Our staff is fully committed to developing our athletes as people, as we understand that life lessons extend beyond the volleyball court.
What do club dues cover at Seattle Juniors?
All expenses related to training with the exception of uniform costs, airfare, hotels and meals.
When will coaches be assigned to a particular age group?
Coaches will be announced late in the Fall. Compliance with WIAA regulations may cause changes year to year. The WIAA restricts a high school coach from coaching any athlete that attends their high school or any middle school athlete that feeds into that high school.
Where are practices held for Seattle Juniors?
It is the goal of Seattle Juniors administration to secure gym space in the general area that spans from north Seattle to Everett to Redmond. Due to facility conflicts practice times and locations are subject to change. Select “Gym Locations” under the “About Seattle Jrs” tab for a current list of training facilities.
What should an athlete expect in terms of playing time?
There are no guarantees for playing time. Playing time depends on the athletes ability to contribute to the success of the team. Contributions are determined during training.
What tournaments will Seattle Juniors attend?
Tournament dates and sites vary from year to year. Each age group’s tournament schedule can be found under the “Schedules” tab.
What is the club season duration for Seattle Juniors?
Tryouts take place in November. Training will start shortly after and continue until the end of June. Competition will begin in January and conclude in early July with a season ending tournament.
