SJ is excited to announce the tryout date and time for U14s, Saturday October 26th. Any player that is younger than U14 is welcome to attend our tryouts. SJ evaluates the talent in the gym and selects players based on athletic ability versus age.
SJ recognizes that tryouts can be a balancing act for families. If an athlete needs to leave early from our tryout, please let us know when checking in. We just need to know what time so our coaches can evaluate accordingly.
Offers will be given out during tryouts. If a make-up tryout is necessary, it will take place on Monday, October 28th. The announcement will be made after the 48-hour window on the afternoon of the 28th.
There will be a parent meeting 15 minutes into the tryout. Parents are welcome stay and watch after the meeting. If an offer is given, it is important for the parents to be available. Practices for this age groups are held at First Baptist Church, Everett, WA. Practices are twice a week: Tuesday (6-9pm) and Thursday (7-9pm). Details around season schedule, season fees, etc. will be discussed at the parent meeting.
There is a $30 non-refundable tryout fee collected when you register online.
